- preservation and repair of archaeological, historical, and cultural sites and artefacts.

I didn't always want to work as a conservationist, but I have always loved the natural world.

Choosing a job that involved something I was fascinated by, excited by, seemed like a good call. The plan was always something which would keep me out of an office, preferable something that let me play with chainsaws, 4x4's and fire for the rest of my career.

That hasn't quite worked out, but there have been some pretty fun times along the way.
